So far, I would say all dating sites are alike... BUT, in the interest of social experiment... I have closed out my MeetMe app profile and opened new ones on POF and Christian Mingle... using same photos from MeetMe. Side note: signing up for CM was dumb: lousy interface. Inaccurate error reporting. Unstable app. Kept telling me my requested username was taken... I ended up with 3 profiles. Had to delete 2.
At time of sign up, there are 600,400 users currently online on POF. I've had @15 profile views in the 2 minutes my account has been active. On Christian Mingle? 2,600 users currently online. 1 profile view... this guy:
After 2 hours on POF:
POF "meet me" count @30; 6 emails
CM And now this guy- which, btw, if you have to SAY you're a man, you probably are not. Usernames can say more than you think at first glance... if their username elicits a "whatthefuckever" when you read it... go with it... go far, far away with it.
3 days later, I've lost count of "meet me" requests on POF. Have around 30 emails, and usually several hundred thousand online.
Christian Mingle? I think I had about 10 "smiles" and a handful of emails... which will cost you $32.99/m to read or reply to- EVEN FROM THE ADMIN! Ha! Apparently, only Jesus' love is free.
At the moment, the app is dead when I try to load it up... if it comes back like Lazarus, I'll get a better count... right before I delete. Totally a dud, not dude, site. I logged into CM via laptop... am forced into a continuous loop to provide more information... even when trying to just delete the damn thing. Fun facts? I hate this site and and want out of this castle.
